Are you ready for a new and improved email experience? Microsoft has been working on a completely new version of its popular email app, Outlook for Windows, and it’s finally opening up to more people.
Previously only available to those in the Office Insider program, the new Outlook for Windows is now available to everyone who switches the “New Outlook” toggle at the top-right corner of the application. This update is set to roll out starting in April 2023, according to the official Microsoft 365 Roadmap.
So, what can you expect from this new version of Outlook? The new app is based on the web app (Outlook.com) and features a more modern design with several new features. Among the upgrades are the ability to support all kinds of Microsoft email accounts, a new Quick Steps feature for speedy problem-solving, and new simplified Ribbon options.
If you’re already an Outlook user, making the switch to the new version should be seamless. And if you’re not yet using Outlook, now is a great time to give it a try and see how it can improve your email experience.
